Kid Rock Slams Democrats Before Trump’s Big Night

Kid Rock appeared on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” Tuesday, just before President Donald Trump’s Joint Session of Congress address. Host Jesse Watters asked what stunts Democrats might pull during the speech, given their struggles against Trump’s momentum. Rock didn’t mince words with his reply.

“Maybe just shut up, sit there, and learn something,” Kid Rock told Watters, aiming his advice squarely at Democrats. He mocked their past antics, like Nancy Pelosi tearing up Trump’s 2020 State of the Union speech, and suggested Rep. Ilhan Omar “collect your things, put a basket on your head and walk back to where you came from.”

The musician’s respect for the presidency shone through. Watters noted Rock played at Obama’s 2009 inauguration, asking if the night was about honoring the office. “It should be,” Rock said, adding that Democrats are “still butt sore” from losing with a “horrible” message over the last four years.

Rock didn’t stop there. He blasted the “woke mind virus” and praised Trump’s no-nonsense style, saying, “It’s been unbelievable to watch somebody who comes in from a business standpoint, makes a list, tells people what he’s going to do and starts doing them—kicking ass and taking names.”

Trump’s address that night proved Rock’s point for conservatives. The President rolled out tax cuts, tariffs, and a ban on child gender transitions, earning “USA!” chants from Republicans while Democrats flailed—Rep. Al Green ejected, others walking out. Rock’s pregame jab framed it as a lesson they refused to learn.

The singer’s history backs his grit. A Michigan native who’s shifted from rap to rock to country, he’s long supported Trump, performing at his 2020 campaign events. His call for Democrats to pipe down reflects a heartland fed up with their noise and ready for Trump’s results.

Watters teed it up perfectly. “They’ve really got the Democrats struggling,” he said, hinting at stunts. Rock’s response was a haymaker—don’t disrupt, just listen. Conservatives see it as spot-on: Trump’s checking boxes while the left’s stuck in tantrum mode.

That night’s chaos bore it out. Democrats’ protests flopped as Trump honored heroes like January Littlejohn, a mom fighting school gender policies. Rock’s words rang true—shutting up might’ve spared them the embarrassment of looking petty against a president in command.

Republicans laughed it up. Posts on X echoed Rock’s sentiment, with users calling Democrats’ antics a “disgrace” as Trump spoke. The musician’s bluntness cut through, amplifying a conservative chorus: stop whining, start winning.

Kid Rock’s not just a hype man—he’s a voice for Trump’s base. His pre-speech salvo set the tone: Democrats can fuss, but Trump’s running the show. Conservatives say it’s time they sit, learn, and let America First take the wheel.
