Dominion Voting Systems Bought By A Republican – And He Has New Plans

Dominion Voting Systems has been acquired by a Republican with big plans for election integrity.
Scott Leiendecker is the founder and chairman of Liberty Vote. He officially became the sole owner of Dominion after making a crucial deal.
The acquisition was contingent on dropping several remaining lawsuits against prominent conservatives. Dominion also had to drop its lawsuit against One America News Network.
Leiendecker is a former GOP election reform advocate. He disclosed to the Daily Caller that remaining litigation will be dropped as part of the acquisition agreement.
The lawsuits against MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell will be dropped. So will the lawsuit against former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The lawsuit against former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell will also be dropped.
Dominion filed a lawsuit against Herring Networks in August 2021. Herring Networks owns OANN. The lawsuit remained unresolved until now.
Leiendecker confirmed that future litigation will be discontinued following the acquisition.
Liberty Vote will be inheriting ongoing litigation with former Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne. The Daily Caller learned this information.
The acquisition makes Dominion a fully American-owned company. Leiendecker says this shift is designed to strengthen public confidence. It will enhance transparency and rebuild trust in the integrity of U.S. elections.
“Every legacy system is under review. Liberty Vote will be 100 percent American-owned, American-built and independently audited. We won’t ask for trust — we’ll earn it and prove it.”
The election technology company is being marketed to champion reforms. These reforms aim to ensure every American’s vote is secure and accurately counted.
Under its new leadership, Liberty Vote will move its operations entirely to the United States. The company is prioritizing election integrity by implementing third-party auditing standards.
“Liberty Vote signals a new chapter for American elections — one where trust is rebuilt from the ground up. Liberty Vote is committed to delivering election technology that prioritizes paper-based transparency, security, and simplicity so that voters can be assured that every ballot is filled-in accurately and fairly counted.”
The company is prioritizing the use of hand-marked paper ballots. This will strengthen election security and compliance. This initiative aligns with President Donald Trump’s executive order.
Trump’s order is titled Preserving And Protecting The Integrity Of American Elections. It is designed to safeguard the electoral process and uphold federal standards.
Since the 2020 election, Dominion launched several major defamation lawsuits. This includes a $1.3 billion case against Lindell. They accused him of spreading false claims about the company’s role during the 2020 presidential election.
The company filed a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Powell. Dominion described her statements as wild accusations that it rigged the 2020 presidential election.
Dominion also filed a separate $1.3 billion lawsuit against Giuliani. They alleged he repeatedly promoted claims that Dominion rigged the election in favor of Biden.
Newsmax Media Inc. reached a $67 million settlement with Dominion in August. This related to its defamation lawsuit over the outlet’s coverage of Dominion.
The company previously reached a $787.5 million settlement with Fox News. Fox agreed to pay the voting software company in April 2023.
Now all of those lawsuits against conservatives are being dropped. Leiendecker made this a condition of buying the company. He refused to acquire Dominion unless they ended their legal attacks on Trump allies.
This represents a major victory for conservatives who were targeted by Dominion. Mike Lindell fought the lawsuit for years. He refused to back down despite the financial pressure.
Rudy Giuliani also stood firm against Dominion’s legal threats. Sidney Powell defended herself against the massive lawsuit. OANN continued reporting despite facing legal action.
Now these lawsuits are over. The conservative targets can finally move on. They no longer face billion-dollar judgments from Dominion.
Leiendecker’s acquisition transforms Dominion from a controversial company into a fully American operation. The company will move all operations to the United States. It will be 100 percent American-owned and American-built.
Third-party audits will ensure transparency. Hand-marked paper ballots will strengthen security. The company will earn trust rather than demanding it.
This aligns perfectly with President Trump’s election integrity executive order. Trump has made election security a top priority. Leiendecker’s reforms support the president’s agenda.
The transformation of Dominion represents a major shift in election technology. For years, conservatives criticized Dominion’s operations and ownership structure. Questions about foreign connections and lack of transparency damaged public confidence.
Now those concerns are being addressed. American ownership eliminates foreign influence worries. Third-party audits provide verification. Paper ballots create a physical record.
Leiendecker’s Liberty Vote promises to rebuild trust from the ground up. The company won’t ask Americans to trust them blindly. They will prove their systems are secure and accurate.
This acquisition could restore confidence in voting technology. If Liberty Vote delivers on its promises, it could become a model for other election companies. American ownership, transparency, and paper ballots should be the standard everywhere.
