President Trump's Department of Justice just charged 15 members and associates of an Antifa network called Direct Action Minnesota — yes, they literally go by DAMN — for a coordinated campaign of violence and harassment against ICE agents in Minneapolis. An 8-count indictment, 12 arrests in a single sweep, and charges that include conspiracy to impede a federal officer, assault on a federal officer, and solicitation to commit a crime of violence. But sure, tell us again how Antifa is just a loosely organized idea.
U.S. Attorney Daniel N. Rosen didn't mince words when he announced the charges on June 16, 2026. "Today's charges and arrests reflect a broad federal effort to address organized, lawless behavior which seeks to obstruct the execution of federal law," Rosen said, adding that such actions are "un-American" and would be met with "swift justice." The arrests were carried out by Homeland Security Investigations as part of Joint Task Force Vanguard, which tells you this wasn't your average perp walk — this was a coordinated federal operation targeting a coordinated criminal network.
The full list of charges reads like a greatest hits of left-wing political violence: conspiracy to impede a federal officer, interstate stalking, interstate threats, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, assault on a federal officer, and destruction of government property. Of the 15 charged, 12 were scooped up in the operation, two remain at large, and one was already sitting in federal custody on separate charges. Shocking that repeat offenders would be part of this crew.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche described what DAMN was doing as an "unrelenting harassment and violence" campaign aimed at "federal and local law enforcement." DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin backed it up with a promise of "zero tolerance for violence against law enforcement." We love to hear it.
Let's be very clear about what this indictment tells us. This wasn't a bunch of kids in black hoodies who spontaneously showed up to yell at ICE agents. This was a named organization with members, associates, and a coordinated playbook for targeting federal officers. They stalked them. They threatened them across state lines. They assaulted them. They destroyed government property. That's not protest. That's organized crime with a political motive.
And for three solid years under the Biden administration, groups like this operated with near-total impunity. Remember the "summer of love"? Remember when every major newsroom assured us that Antifa had no structure, no leadership, no organization? Well, 15 people just got indicted as part of a network. Networks have structure. Conspiracies have participants. The DOJ just proved what we already knew.
This is what happens when the Department of Justice actually does its job instead of pretending political violence from the left doesn't exist. Fifteen arrests. Eight federal counts. Zero tolerance. As reported by 100 Percent Fed Up, the Trump DOJ is making it crystal clear — you can call yourself an activist all you want, but when you assault federal officers and stalk law enforcement, you're a criminal. And criminals go to prison.
