A 22-year-old alleged Antifa radical in Texas has been federally indicted for trying to burn down a Republican Party headquarters — and she was kind enough to leave a note behind explaining exactly why she did it, complete with "F**k DJT" and a declaration that she'd just torched "the Nazi Party of NB's office." Real subtle.
Imagine if someone tried to burn down a Democrat office and left a note with an anti-Biden message and a MAGA hat. It would be the only story on every network for six months. Congress would hold hearings. Anderson Cooper would cry on camera. But when the target is Republicans? Crickets.
Grace Carol Brown of New Braunfels, Texas, was indicted by a federal grand jury in San Antonio on charges of actual and attempted malicious damage by fire to property involved in interstate or foreign commerce, as reported by Blaze News. The indictment says that on January 14, 2026, Brown went to the building at the 200 block of Landa Street that houses the Comal County Republican Party Headquarters — along with two other commercial businesses — smashed a window, and threw a backpack inside.
That backpack contained ethanol containers, gasoline containers, a lighter, and matches. She then lit a rolled-up magazine on fire and threw it through the broken window. When the building didn't cooperate with her revolutionary vision, she left a handwritten note at the scene.
The note didn't just say "F**k DJT" and slam ICE. It also featured the Drei Pfeile symbol — three downward-pointing arrows in a circle — originally created by the Iron Front in Germany in the 1930s. Today, that symbol is used by Antifa-aligned activists, anarchist groups, and anti-fascist protest networks. Not exactly a mystery motive for investigators.
Brown was arrested on January 22, 2026, just days after the attack. She also faces state charges in Comal County for burglary of a building and arson, on top of the federal indictment.
U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons of the Western District of Texas announced the indictment, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Kirk Mangels prosecuting the case. The FBI and New Braunfels Police Department are handling the investigation alongside the New Braunfels Fire Marshal's Office.
If convicted on the federal charges, Brown faces 5 to 20 years in federal prison. Good.
Here's the part that should make your blood boil. We've spent years listening to lectures about "right-wing extremism" being the greatest domestic threat facing America. The FBI has been hauling parents out of school board meetings. Homeland Security has been writing white papers about the danger of "anti-government sentiment." Meanwhile, an actual radical with Antifa symbols is throwing gasoline and lit magazines into a Republican building, and the national media treats it like a local crime blotter item.
She signed her work. She used Antifa imagery. She targeted a political party headquarters. She brought accelerants. This wasn't a prank or a mental health episode — it was political violence, plain and simple.
But we all know the rules by now. When the Left does it, it's an "isolated incident" by a "troubled individual." When anyone on the Right so much as jaywalks near the Capitol, it's an insurrection.
Five to twenty years isn't enough. But at least the feds are taking it seriously, even if CNN won't.
