Tolerant Left Shows Up to Scream at Women — Police Shut It Down at TPUSA Summit

Radical left-wing activists descended on the Turning Point USA Women's Leadership Summit in San Antonio on Friday, clashing with police, wearing Antifa gear, and — because apparently there's no floor beneath these people — reenacting the assassination of Charlie Kirk outside the venue where his widow was speaking. Police weren't in the mood to play nice, and the whole unhinged circus got shut down on camera.

Remind me again which side is "pro-women"?

The summit, held at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on June 6, featured TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk — Charlie Kirk's wife, who took the reins of the organization after her husband was shot and killed on a college campus — along with a lineup that included Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany, and Riley Gaines. It was billed as a faith-filled gathering of conservative women. So naturally, the tolerant left showed up to terrorize them.

Video from the scene captured masked agitators wearing visible Antifa imagery and pride flags, carrying Mao portraits and hammer-and-sickle symbols — because nothing says "we support women" like waving the flag of regimes that murdered millions of them. They brought noisemaking devices and at least one protester dressed as the Grim Reaper wielding a scythe, while another wore a Charlie Kirk costume to mock his assassination.

The chants were exactly as deranged as you'd expect. "Women hold up half the sky, Charlie Kirk deserved to die," the mob screamed. "Listen Kirk, hear us scream, f--- your Nazi regime." They chanted "Erika Kirk, go to hell" and were caught on video urging each other to "be as loud as you can, be as obnoxious as you can."

Mission accomplished on the obnoxious front.

When the mob attempted to swarm one of the summit entrances, San Antonio police moved in hard. TPUSA released a statement confirming that "ANTIFA members swarm one of the entrances" and that "multiple masked protesters wearing visible ANTIFA imagery have been hitting and throwing items at police." Officers made arrests on camera as the confrontation escalated, and the entrance was secured.

This wasn't even the first threat against the event. Days before the summit, San Antonio police arrested 26-year-old Jacob Wenske on felony terroristic threat charges after he allegedly posted on Facebook, "I know exactly where to bomb," in response to a post promoting the summit. He followed that up with, "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!" Charming individual.

Let's step back and appreciate the full picture here, as reported by RedState. A gathering of conservative women — a CEO, a governor, a former White House press secretary, a champion swimmer who stood up for women's sports — held a conference about faith and leadership. And the response from the left was death threats, Antifa mobs, police assaults, communist iconography, and a grotesque mockery of a murdered man in front of his widow.

These are the people who lecture us about compassion. These are the people who put "Coexist" bumper stickers on their Priuses.

The good news? Police didn't stand down this time. They didn't take a knee. They did their jobs, made arrests, and cleared the mob. That's the victory here — law enforcement remembered whose side they're supposed to be on.

The left keeps telling us who they are. We should keep believing them.
