Welcome to Trump International Airport — Now Boarding All Triggered Liberals

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy posted a video Thursday showing workers peeling off the old "Palm Beach International Airport" sign and replacing it with gleaming new letters: "President Donald J. Trump International Airport."

It's official. Every flight in and out of Palm Beach County now departs from Trump International.

The renaming transforms one of Florida's busiest airports into a permanent monument to the 45th and 47th President. Duffy's video showed the full welcome-sign transformation in real time, the kind of footage that works as both a news clip and a liberal therapy trigger.

Palm Beach International handled over 7.5 million passengers last year. That's 7.5 million boarding passes, itineraries, and luggage tags that now read "Trump International." Every single one of them.

The left's reaction has been exactly what you'd expect. The people who spent eight years insisting Trump was a temporary aberration now have to type his name into Expedia every time they want a direct flight to South Florida. The airport serves West Palm Beach — Trump's home base at Mar-a-Lago — so the renaming carries a geographic logic that makes it even harder to argue against.

Secretary Duffy didn't offer an apology tour with the announcement. He posted the video, showed the sign going up, and let the footage speak for itself. No committee hearings. No public comment period drama. The name went up because the authorization went through, and that was that.

Airports get renamed for presidents all the time — we've got JFK in New York, Reagan National in D.C., George Bush Intercontinental in Houston. But Trump's name on an airport terminal does something to these people that Eisenhower's name on a highway never could. It's not about the honor — it's about the permanence. A building with his name means he's not going away. The sign is bolted on.

The irony is that Palm Beach International was already synonymous with Trump. Mar-a-Lago sits minutes away. The Secret Service motorcade route from the airport to the estate has been a fixture of local traffic for a decade. Making it official just removed the last pretense.

So the next time a Brooklyn progressive books a winter getaway to escape the cold, they'll pull up their confirmation email and see it: "Arriving: President Donald J. Trump International Airport."
