If you haven’t heard, rap star Sean P. “Diddy” Combs has recently been accused of multiple sexual assault allegations. And Britain’s royal Prince Harry was just named in the suit.

Both Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided on Monday by members of the Department of Homeland Security, which has been named as lead on the investigation. In particular, the Department’s Investigations Transnational Organized Crime Division has been placed in charge, which handles human trafficking allegations.

To be clear, Prince Harry has not been named as part of any misconduct or crime. Instead, his name was merely mentioned as an example of the type of people Combs would connect himself and his parties with in order to facilitate his sex trafficking ring.

According to the New York Post, the allegations come from music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

Jones says that most of Combs’s sexual misconduct, including grooming and sex trafficking, as well as several assaults, take place through the numerous parties he holds, per the Post. The lawsuit goes on to state that due to Combs’s celebrity status and popularity, he could attract other famous people, such as Prince Harry, to his parties.

So, the wording of the lawsuit merely mentions Harry’s celebrity status as an example of the type of person who usually attends Combs’ parties.

Again, no crime or allegation was made against Harry.

In fact, the only known interaction between Combs and Harry took place in 2007, following the Concert for Diana, a London-held benefit celebrating what would have been Harry’s mother’s 46th birthday. Harry, Combs, and Kanye West posed for a photo together.

Still, the mere mention of Harry in connection with an alleged criminal such as Combs can’t look good for him, especially at a time when he’s already lost so much favor throughout the world.
